The Game Awards 2021 ha annunciato le sue nomination per quest’anno e a far da capo fila, forse anche in maniera inaspettata (?), è Deathloop, che tanto ha fatto parlare di sé, con ben 9 nomination in 30 differenti categorie, tra le quali anche quella per il Game of the Year.

A seguire troviamo l’esclusiva next-gen di Sony Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, il folle e incredibile Psychonauts 2 e il divertentissimo It Takes Two, con 6 candidature per il primo e 5 nomination per gli altri due giochi, oltre ad essere tutt’e tre in corsa per il titolo di gioco dell’anno.
Da notare che nonostante PlayStation abbia ben due esclusive in lizza per il premio di Game of the Year, Xbox e Bethesda combinate insieme presentano ben 20 nomination, diventando in questo modo i publisher con più candidature di questi The Game Awards 2021. Sony è subito dietro con 11, mentre EA e Square Enix si dividono il terzo posto con 10 nomination ciascuna.
